HEINEKEN Hungary Breweries PLC. is a key player in the Hungarian beer market. We operate two breweries in Hungary, one in Sopron and one in Martfű. Our brewery in Sopron has been brewing beer in Hungary for more than 120 years. We strive for high quality standards, environment protection and continuous innovation to meet the demands of our consumers and business partners.
Our portfolio includes: Heineken, the most international beer, sponsor of UEFA Champions League and Formula 1. Soproni, made with 100% Hungarian barley, the most popular beer brand in Hungary that won 16 gold-medals at the international Monde Selection in the past years, a Silver Lion at Cannes Lion in 2011, several Effies, including the platina Effie in 2015. He have introduced in 2016 a new Czech beer specialty, Krušovice. Gösser has very successfully opened a new category, the radlers. The portfolio has further increased with NaturRadler 0,0%, the first PET bottled radler in the market. Gösser NaturZitrone is a big winner of the radler segment and the Hungarian independent taste tests. We have introduced Strongbow ciders to the Hungarian market and have been successfully building the category as well as the brand offering the products at an affordable price to Hungarian consumers.
